In June, 2008, students from the Mississippi Delta traveled to Copan, Honduras for a language and cultural immersion program. The objective of Honduras Bound is to improve the conversational Spanish skills of Mississippi Delta students, expand their cultural awareness, and to promote international understanding through service learning and civic engagement.
